Here’s 11 ways to get dialing
(and BETTER results!)
Take Care Of Yourself
I know this sounds obvious however making sure you have your health fundamentals covered will provide you with plenty of energy for the day. This includes getting plenty of consistent sleep, sunlight, water, fruits and vegetables every day. Many people simply overlook these basic needs, and wonder why they feel tired, foggy, and unmotivated… I do it too sometimes. Missing any of these can make us feel less than able be in front of people all day, even alert and poised on the phone.
Even if you are working from home, getting dressed for business can help you feel more confident and productive. You’ll be less likely to slack when you’re ready for a face-to-face meetings if one of your local leads is excited to meet you ASAP.
Ditch Social Media
Keep Facebook and other social apps away from your work desk. This is very important! This has been a key ingredient in my success. I keep all personal social media on my tablet in my bedroom, with difficult logins so it is not easy to check. I save social media and TV as a reward at the end of the day. If you can’t use a different device, or you do use social media for your business, then set up one browser for business use, and another for personal. For example I use Explorer for doing live demo’s (like hosting webinars), Chrome for my business, and Firefox for personal. It helps to turn off personal communication and distraction when I only have one browser open at a time.
Listen to your favorite motivational speaker before dialing. We tend to become like the 5 people we surround ourselves with most, this also includes speakers and authors! Check out youtube for thousands upon thousands of your favorite authors, coaches, and networking experts.
Move Your Body
If you’re tired at the computer, then just take a break. Get outside for a nice walk. You can take a pet or kid for a walk too. The fresh air, sunshine, and exercise will boost your energy levels and performance. Self-care pays off!
PS. How often do you spend too much time on social media or TV – then feel even LESS like working afterwards?
Listen to Experts Call Leads
Ask your leaders if they host any type of recruiting training or if you can simply 3-way into any of their recruiting calls and listen quietly so you hear exactly how they describe the business.
We occasionally host calls at HBBLeads (join the newsletter at the bottom of this page for invites).
Seeing clearly the steps you need to take to reach income goals is always recommended. Successful people set goals then break them down into small steps to get there. It works! Make projections for your desired sales, and a specific road map to get there. Ask your upline or leader to help you with this.
You Deserve Rewards
Decide on a small reward for yourself when you finish. For example: a break for an ice cream or frozen yogurt after you dial 50 leads. Or buy yourself something nice after you earn your first $1,000.
Practice, Practice, Practice
Set up appointments with your team to rehearse talking points, how to enroll a new sign up, and practice the free scripts from HBBLeads. If you have an experienced and successful person in your upline this is the ideal person to practice with. When you feel comfortable talking to anyone you’ll simply see dialing as a profit machine!
Record yourself practicing your scripts. You can use any audio recording device. Most computers and cell phones now include a voice recorder. Keep practicing until you feel confident with how you sound.

Ask Yourself ‘WHY’?
What specifically are you avoiding about dialing? Try to be VERY SPECIFIC. Messy desk? Scared of dialing? Don’t know the answer to some questions from the leads? Don’t have a system of note taking? When you know exactly what is holding you back, it will be easier to make a plan and ask for advice to overcome it. Please reach out and ask us (firstname.lastname@example.org) so we can help you out.
