A CSV file is typically used in any spreadsheet or text based software such as Microsoft Excel, Works, Word or Notepad.
CSV stands for Comma Separated Variable or Comma Separated Values (to put it simply, it is just plain text with commas).
When we deliver the spreadsheet file, it is not properly formatted (remember, it is just simple text and commas). The columns and rows may at first appear that you are missing the lead data and you might see a lot of pound signs like this: ######. If so, simply expand the columns (horizontally) in your spreadsheet program to show all of your lead data.
If you are having trouble viewing your spreadsheet in Excel or another software program, please google search for tutorials that match the version or software you are using.
